I loved your Psalm, i loved how you asked God a question on the first line and then on the second line you would answer it. I especially liked this question and answer "why do you still love us when we always fail you? your love is amazing, you always love us" i liked it because its true, God's love for us is amazing, great job with your psalm

Your psalm was very deep and touching. It also could relate to anyone when they are in doubt. Good job, and I hope you find the answers in your heart.

  10. To 99,

Good job. Your psalm was very real and modern, so it was easily relatable to many people. I also like how you thank God for your gifts and still remember that God doesn't find you better than anyone else, keeping all pride out of the situation.

  11. To 81,

Your psalm was very thankful, and that is good. You stated that we, as humans, do mess up, but you said in a very good way that He will not stop loving us, even though our mistakes are innumerable.

Loved your Psalm. I can really relate. I'll keep you in my prayers.

  13. To 26,

Your fortress simile was clever and good. You also intrigued me when you said God catches us when we are in need, and even though we aren't always trusting him, he will still aid us in strife.

I appriciate this psalm because it covered a lot of topics about God. It seems that you have a lot of questions about God and why he did so much for us. Also about how he forgives us. I agree. And I really liked this because as I am coming closer and learning more about God, although I do have so many questions about everything! Even though I have questions, I try to use Gods words to help guide me in his path. Just like you said on the second to last line.

This was a very simple but at the same time amazing prayer to God. Everyword that you typed I completely agree with and I noticed how blessed I am with all this. For everything.

  17. To 89,

I really liked the end of your psalm! I agree when you talk about how we've should have died, but he saved us. It's very deep of you and you did a good job with the whole thing!

I thought the line "Like a doctor you stitch my heart together". It really symbolizes how God pieces you back together by saving you in modern terms. It is a great twist on classic sayings.

  19. To 131,

Overall, your psalm was really good. But what inspired me was how you gave all aspects of God (love, grace, etc.) and put them in metaphors. It really helped me think about it and how deep and wide his love and grace go. You did a really good job with this!

  20. To 29,

Your psalm was very sincere and I could definitely feel your emotion. You should know that I am praying for you and that you will be able to find God. Just keep trying and praying to Him and know that even if you don't see Him, He is there, watching and listening to you.

  24. To 76,
Your psalm is incredible!! I absolutely loved the objects you used to paint a picture of our relationship with God. I love how you asked God really specific things, it was really humble. Also, I loved your phrase, "familiar land" because it is so true. In God, is where we feel safest and securest, but for some reason we still want to stray from him. Thank you for writing that inspiring and relatable psalm.

    ReplyDelete
  25. To 115,
Your psalm is great! I absolutely love that you repeated the line, "Thank You!" It's a simple phrase but one we do not nearly say enough to God. Keep on thanking! :)

I think it's awesome how you admit that we underappreciate God so much. Which is entirely true. And how you described it was nice. One thing that is kind of strange is how much you were sorry. Everything was "I did this wrong," and "I did that wrong."

The Psalm you wrote had a lot of meaning. We really do need to keep praising God, evreywhere, all the time. I think you expressed that very well.

  28. To:398
The synonyms you used in your psalm describe God perfectly. We can never get away from him. He clings to us, so we must cling to Him, in good times and in bad.

I loved your psalm and the way you compared things to God

I have the same problems. Everything seems to be falling around you and that God is not with you. But I had to learn that it might take some time for God to help you. So just put the problems in his hands and don't worry about it.

    ReplyDelete
  31. To 89 ...
Very true! We don't deserve his mercy but we get it. I liked how you talked about how brilliant his creations is.

    ReplyDelete
  32. To 16
Even when we have problems and we know God id with and we pray to him in the hard times but yet we still stop and and try to save ourselves. We have to know and trust an give our love to the creator like he gives his love to us and your psalm said that real truth about haw we treat that.

  33. To 312
I loved your Psalm! Everything flowed so well and I adored the part about how our sins out number the grains of sand on the earth.

    ReplyDelete
  34. To 75
This Psalm was great! You really express how much God means to you. This is one of the best Psalms on the page. I especially love where you say that we are scared of the truths that He presents to us. That is so true. We do hide, we want things to go our way, but you make that clear that it is not true. Keep up the amazing work.

  35. To 17
We all go through hard times and when we do we all feel misrible and down like you said but we have to stand stron and know that God is in control becaus ehe is and it is all in due time. Great message

    ReplyDelete
  36. To 93
This seems pretty obvious. Maybe if you used some more love towards God. It is obvious that he loves us. It is awesome that you said that. But we want to see stuff from the heart. Everyone doesn't want to read the same stuff over and over again.

  83. Follow the Son
The seed of true beauty is planted inside.
With Sun it blooms, a new sunflower shines!
When the blossom follows the Sun,
It wins the fight the new day begun.
When it’s all said and done,
Night comes and the battle had been won.
Still the Sunflower is left standing,
    New seeds are landing.
Now a field of flowers begins to grow,
And just like them we all know,
    True-Beauty comes from above.
It can only flourish if we live and love.

7 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.” – 1st Samuel 16:7 (ESV)

(17)Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another. (19) As in water face reflects face,
so the heart of man reflects the man. ` Proverbs 27:17; 19 (ESV)

Follow the Sun is a poem God gave to me about beauty. It really started out being a note to remind the 8th grade girls at my school that they are beautiful. I struggle with my self-image every day, so I know it feels nice when someone tells you “You’re pretty,” or “I like your shoes.” Just little things can make any day brighter, and so I decided to redeem notes by putting encouraging notes in my friends’ lockers. The catch is that they don’t know it’s from me, which I love because I sincerely hate the spot light. I can’t sit in the dead center or the front of the room when something is going on. It makes me feel that everyone is watching me, I immensely hate that feeling. Anyway, God gave me “Follow the Sun” while I was just editing my note, for my friends, in “Reminders,” on my iPad. Eventually it became something much more different than I thought, but it still serves it purpose in telling those who listen that they are and can be beautiful if they “Follow the Sun”.
