Words can not help me comprehend your love for me. It is so great that the heavens can't compare to it. When I am broken, you are always there to comfort me and protect me even before I cry out to you. You came and saved me when I was DEAD in sin. I will forever praise you and forever rejoice in your name.

2. I have so many questions...
Too many...
If I give you everything,
Why doesn't it feel like you've received it?
I pray to you everyday,
You answer it anonymously .
Your love for me is unconditional,
But is my love unconditional towards you?
3. God, you gave me life.
You gave me my family, and friends...
Teachers and peers...
A house and a place to learn during the day...
Clothes, food, amid clean water...
The gift of emotions and spirit...
God, you gave me the ability to love you.
But most importantly, you gave me the gift of your love.

how great are You who
has saved us from our deeds!

to rescue us sinners while
we were committing all
sorts of crimes to your name!

Light cannot shine unless there is darkness
You put evil in the world so that we can see your goodness
You put darkness here so that we will see your light
We grow up in darkness and are scared of your light
We grow up scared of the truths that you present to us
We want to be the center of everything, we want to say what's right and wrong
What we think is warmth, is just our imagination
What we think is joy, is just a fantasy
In the end, you are forever warming
In the end, you are everlasting joy
We think that we are so big on this small world
We then see your glory in the couple of small galaxies you allow us to see
We are in complete and wholesome awe of you
You are across the whole universe
You are everywhere and in everything
To often we question your authority thinking that we know more
To often do we idolize things that are even smaller than us
While we are to busy looking at the ground
You urge us to look to the stars

Often I doubt that you will catch me and I trust in myself, but therefore I tell you, I can not hold myself up, I haven't been.

The waves of the world suck me out to the open waters where I am alone and unprotected,
Only you can be my life saver and pull me back to shore.
Be my lighthouse, O Lord, that guides me to familiar land,
You are my open waters God,
For I fear you, but you provide me and island to turn to.
The world is an anchor and I am sinking, only you can untie me and bring me to sand,
Show me, O God, how to be a ship that follows the light of the lighthouse.
O Lord I feel as if you have turned your face away from me

As if you came for me but left me alone and abandoned
But I realize O Lord that you never abandon us, just as you did with Joshua, you will never leave or forsake us
You watch us day and night
You are like a huge mountain, you tower over us but create a safe shelter in times of need
O Lord you are here for us

O, my Lord, in my times of struggle and sadness, you provided me with your strength and love. I was happy and never knew there was bad, but then I became bad and found evil. Then you showed me a hard time and I struggled for years. I thought I would never get out of my hard times. But then my parents made me come to Westminster, and I didn't know anything about it except that it was a preppy privet school and I never got to shadow. I started Westminster last year and it changed my life. I came to know Christ, I even learned how to use a Bible for the first time. You Lord got me through those times. You guided me to Westminster because your plan for me is here.

Why did you let Jesus die on the cross to pay the punishment we so rightfully deserved?

We don't deserve anything but death but you still give us life. Why?
God you are there. You know what I do and don't do. You know what I say and don't say. You know what I can handle and what I cant. You give me jobs that you know I can handle. Like a father and his son.The boy cannot do things that his father can. He cannot build houses,support a family be a soldier.The boy takes on jobs and problems on that he knows he can handle. God does that with us. He raises us from a boy spiritually to a man. We all face problems that we can handle as boys spiritually but then God tests us as men and women of God. We think its to hard but God knows what we can and cannot handle. That's and example of how he loves us, he wants us to grow and to fend for yourself's. Fight the good fight, finish the race,your God loves you with such great intensity, we will never know.

ReplyDeleteEveryday, I struggle with making the right decisions over the wrong decisions.
And every night, I am forgiven by You.
Father, help me to know the difference between right and wrong decisions.
Help me to grow closer to You spiritually.
Satan, I bind you in the name of Jesus!
You cannot hinder me from the presence of God Almighty, for He has already seen my future and provided for me.
I cast out each and every one of your demonic agents, their evil plots and command you to go right now in the name of Jesus!
Jesus, I cast my cares and troubles unto You.
For You already have established me as a king and I will do as a king shall do.
And also because You are the One who knows my heart 100% and what I need the most in life.
Father, I praise Your Holy Name and I thank You that you have seen my future and already provided.
I thank you for this day and for Your blessings established in my life in Jesus name Amen.

I feel like I am the only good person on this Earth
I have gotten nowhere
All the others mock me
They are having fun
Enjoying life
Not knowing what comes next
They do bad things
Ungodly sins
They act as if they don't need you God
They are so happy
I am alone
Depressed
I want to join them and enjoy life
But then God at my worst moments
Your love surrounds me
You answer my prayer
I remember that all I need is you
I am not ashamed
For I have everlasting life
The others will go to Hell

LORD it is hard for me to believe in something that I cannot see.

Although, through struggles and trials, I feel something with me.
Something unexplainable.
As I think back to what it could be, I realize it is you.
You have been with me during the pain.
You have been with me during the sadness.
You have been with me during the anger.
It is you that pushed me through it.
You gave me this battle because you knew I could handle it.
God, you made me a strong person.

ReplyDeleteYou are the righteous tree giving life where I am the sinful weed, spreading nothing but hurt.
I put my trust in you oh lord, I take refuge under your mighty hand.
For I am stubborn and cant see over the next ridge, but you guide me through the winding path day and night.
You are my shelter, when I am weak, and my sword when I am strong. To you alone I retreat to.
Without you I am nothing, for you knitted me in my mothers womb, all of my imperfectins are made perfect in your eyes.

This wonderful plan you have for me, seems like it is going no where fast.
The people here are nice when they see me.
But as soon as they turn around Bitter words come sputtering out.
Then I can not see the Grace and Mercy, when they mention your name.
But I have full faith in you.
My ancestors like David and Jesus have been mocked and their future was amazing.
I have seen your goodness in many people, so I will turn to you, and look to you in my times of doubt.

Tossing, Turning, Crying, Screaming
“God what is happening to me?”
Curled up in bed, wide awake, can’t go to sleep.
Thinking, trying to figure life out.
Lights out, who’s there?
My eyes closed, yet I see a demon following.
“Where is the angel by my side?”
I scream, I cry, “Help me find a place to run and hide.
Give me something. I can’t see,
What to do what to do, or who to be.”
I awake my nightmare ending, only to begin again as I live.
God says to me: “Stop this pretending!
I’ve been here all along singing over you.
I haven’t let you go.
You still keep screaming as you look around and below.
All you needed to do was look up to find comfort and peace.
To find comfort and peace, you must find Me.
You know and see the way it should be, yet you beg for a miracle.
Your solution is so simple.
Seek Me, truly seek Me.
I’m waiting come find Me.”
“I will no longer wait, forget all the horrors.
They all soon fade when I remember I’m Yours.

Why are you letting this happen to me? How come no one else feels so poorly? In the bible, romans nine, it says that "Everything happens for the better.

light in this future. I almost feel as though you are trying to direct to follow a different road, by completely destroying the road I follow currently. I feel alone god, and i know you say that you are near the broken hearted, but maybe you are off doing more important things like curing cancer or ending world hunger. I feel alone, similar to how pi felt when he was stranded in the middle of the ocean with no supplies to keep him alive (life of pi movie) If it was true that the lord is always with mr, then wouldn't you know how much pain i am in, instead of me having to right this psalm of lament to remind you god that.........I NEED HELP.

He can do all things which means he can end world hunger if he wanted to and at the same time he knows what you are going through and loves you through it all. Whatever road he chooses to lead you down it is the right one so follow him.

76: Its ok. I find myself lost at times too. You are not alone. Pray to the Lord and praise him worship him ask him for help and come t him in your times of need. If you feel the slightest hint that you are idolizing worldly things... talk to God.
